Follow our local tour guides as we take you on a history tour which places strong emphasis on Dundee’s dark and murky past.
From riots and rebellions to murders, ghosts and witches, this tour highlights only the very worst in our bloody battle for survival against overwhelming odds.

Dead Centre – Disease, death and execution, starting in an ancient graveyard.
From our starting point at the Howff graveyard, let us take you into the world of the dead and the dying. Disease, death and execution will be on the menu – with a side order of Vikings and some body-snatching!
We’ll end at the City Square, and you’ll never believe what’s been right in front of you, and underneath you, the whole time.

Twisted in Time – Exploring the truth to Dundee’s darkest myths and legends.
What’s fact, and what’s fiction? With some of these ancient stories its impossible to know… Join our local tour guides as we uncover the secrets of the oldest parts of Dundee.
Starting at the statue of the Dragon on the High Street, we tell you the legend behind the beast and then visit the site of Dundee’s most ancient places, ending just off our oldest street – the Seagate.
Dragons, cannibals, plenty more real monsters and tales of savage punishment and ancient feuds, this twisted tour just might keep you up at night…

Crimes of Passion – Love and murder in Dundee throughout the 1800s.
You’ll find no jute, jam or journalism on our Crimes of Passion tour – just murder, mayhem and mystery! Starting outside the DCA we explore mediaeval punishments for crimes of passion, then dive into the 19th century’s most infamous murders in Dundee.
Who is guilty, who is innocent, and who got away with murder?
